Sunday Evening Walks

Walking group, 3rd Sunday of the month - May to October
                                 (dogs invited too)

Unfortunately due to the outbreak of Coronavirus we have had to take the decision not to meet - but we will keep reviewing the situation.

Build friendships whilst walking and learning about our local community with some famous landmarks and people, even calling in at a dog friendly pub on the way home (not compulsory!) -
and they do serve coffee too.

Just meet at St Paul's in the garden at the front of the Church at 6.45 for a 7pm start.

We have no dates for 2020 but hopefully we will be able to publish dates for 2021 in the near future.

Route details are given on the night – typically we walk for about an hour and try to vary the route each month.

All dogs must be kept on a lead at all times and don’t forget those all important poo bags

We had a lovely first of the year walk in May 2019 and there was no rain.

Our focus after leaving St Paul's was to visit Heaton Moor Park as there had been an event in the afternoon run by the Rotary Club, and the WI had 'yarn-stormed' the park - Martyn Hett's bench looked great with all the knitted bees.
We then went behind St Thomas's school where there is open space and then headed back to St Paul's church, calling in at the Plough on the way!
They love to see the dogs and always provide them with a well earned drink of water
